Before the establishment of Maheshwari Dialysis Centre, patients had to spend between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000 for a single dialysis session. For many families, this cost was unaffordable, forcing some patients to skip or discontinue their treatment. As a result, many lives were lost due to the lack of access to timely dialysis.
Recognizing this critical healthcare need, Surat Manav Seva Sangh "Chhanyado", a charitable organization, took the initiative to address the problem. The trustees resolved to establish Maheshwari Dialysis Centre with the mission of ensuring that no patient is denied life-saving dialysis because of financial hardship.
Today, Maheshwari Dialysis Centre provides completely free dialysis treatment, including dialysis consumables and essential dialysis injections, enabling economically weaker patients to receive quality renal care without any financial burden.
